An ELM327-based OBD2 adapter is required for Car Scanner ELM OBD2 to function. Adapters supporting WiFi or Bluetooth 4.0 are supported. Bluetooth 2.0 adapters are not compatible with iOS devices due to Apple restrictions. Recommended adapters include Kiwi 3, Viecar Bluetooth 4, V-Gate, Carista, LELink, Veepeak, Konnwei KW903, and Steren obd2 compatible adapters.
