Volvo Cars has announced plans to steadily increase deliveries, expanding to additional markets from the fourth quarter of this year through the first quarter of 2025.

This advanced in-car AI computing system is built upon the NVIDIA DRIVE® platform. Complementing this, the Snapdragon® Cockpit Platform from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., along with Volvo Cars’ proprietary software, work in concert to manage crucial vehicle functions. The Volvo EX90 also introduces several firsts for the brand. It is the first Volvo vehicle to feature lidar technology and a core computing system. Production of the Volvo EX90 commenced earlier this year at Volvo Cars’ manufacturing facility just outside Charleston, South Carolina. This plant, capable of producing up to 150,000 vehicles annually, has seen substantial recent investments, including upgrades and expansions to the body and paint shops, as well as a new, cutting-edge battery pack production line.
