The Tahoe 2024 summit is honored to host a distinguished keynote speaker, U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg. The day begins with check-in and an engaging booth fair at 9am, showcasing various Lake Tahoe environmental organizations and their impactful work. The main Summit program will commence at 10am. Following the summit’s conclusion, the booth fair will continue, offering attendees the chance to purchase food from Beach Bums Bar & Grill and further network and engage with exhibitors.
Please note that in-person registration for the Tahoe 2024 Lake Tahoe Summit is now closed. However, you can still participate virtually by joining the livestream.
To ensure smooth logistics, attendees are advised that on-site parking will be unavailable. The summit encourages the use of public transportation, complimentary shuttle services, or active transport options like walking and biking. The Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition will generously provide a complimentary bike valet service for those cycling to the event, promoting sustainable transportation choices for Tahoe 2024.

Event Guidelines
To ensure a comfortable and secure environment for all participants at the Tahoe 2024 Summit, please adhere to the following event policies:
Bag Policy: For security and efficiency, only clear bags smaller than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ are permitted. Non-clear bags under 5″ x 7″ are also allowed.
Prohibited Items: Firearms are strictly prohibited at the event to maintain a safe environment for all attendees of Tahoe 2024.
Signage: To ensure unobstructed views of the stage for all attendees, signs will not be permitted during the summit.
Arrival Restrictions: Arrival by boat, paddlecraft, or any other watercraft directly to the event venue is not permitted to manage event access and safety effectively.
Transportation Information for Tahoe 2024 Summit
A key focus of Tahoe 2024 is sustainable transportation. Please note that no on-site parking will be available at Round Hill Pines Resort. All attendees are required to utilize public transit, park-and-ride options, designated bike paths, or other alternative transportation methods. Walking or cycling to the event is strongly encouraged as part of the Tahoe 2024 initiative towards environmental responsibility.

Public Transit Options from North Lake Tahoe
For attendees coming from North Lake Tahoe, Placer County, in collaboration with the Crystal Bay Club, is offering a convenient park-and-ride shuttle service for the Tahoe 2024 Summit. Shuttles will depart from the Crystal Bay Club at 8am and 8:30am. Return shuttles will leave the Summit at 12pm and 12:30pm. Utilize TART’s main line service or TART Connect to reach the Crystal Bay Club efficiently. Find TART routes here.
Public Transit Options from South Lake Tahoe
The Tahoe Transportation District, partnering with Douglas County, is providing a park-and-ride location from the Kingsbury Transit Center (207 Kingsbury Grade Rd, Stateline, NV 89449) for Tahoe 2024 attendees. Parking is available in the parking garage and at Kahle Park. Shuttles will commence from the Kingsbury Transit Center at 8:30am to Round Hill Pines, with return trips starting at the summit’s conclusion. Lake Link, Tahoe’s on-demand microtransit service, will extend its operational area to Round Hill Pines for the event. Attendees can use Lake Link to connect to TTD shuttle routes from Lake Tahoe Community College and Douglas County Parking Garage. Download the Lake Link app here.
Driving and Limited Parking
Limited paid parking is available at Nevada Beach for $10. This parking is managed independently of the Tahoe 2024 Summit. From Nevada Beach, Round Hill Pines Resort is a scenic 1-mile walk along the bike path.
