Reinforcing our commitment to the US Navy and our advanced manufacturing capabilities, Rolls-Royce announced a significant $7.7 million investment in our Walpole facility in 2019. This project is creating new manufacturing, repair, and test capabilities specifically to support critical US Navy programs. The expansion, which includes a new 24,000 square foot facility completed in late 2020, has enabled Rolls-Royce’s flagship Naval Defence site to incorporate water jet maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) servicing into its already world-class portfolio.
